Recruitment Events

The WorkBC Langley Centres can assist employers find new employees in a variety of ways.

Multi-Employer Job Fairs
The Centres holds job fairs regularly. Interested employers participate at no cost. Centre staff handle all event coordination, marketing and recruitment.

Individual Employer Hiring Fairs
For employers needing multiple workers, an individualized hiring fair can be set up. WorkBC Centre staff will assist in organizing the hiring fair and it can be held at the employer’s worksite or at one of the WorkBC Employment Services Centres in Langley.

Sector Specific Hiring Fairs
For occupational sectors in high demand for workers, the Centre can put together a sector specific hiring event. These events can be held at an employer’s worksite or at one of the Langley WorkBC Centres.

Employer Panels
The panels provide employers with an opportunity to share information with job seekers on current skill and labour needs, education and training requirements, workplace expectations and hiring practices.
