Apply for WorkBC Services

To access WorkBC Employment Services, you must have an Online Employment Services Account. To apply for an account, visit Welcome to Online Employment Services. Here are the steps you will have to take to get an Online Employment Services Account.

Step 1: Get a BCeID

To apply for an Online Employment Services (OES) account, you will need a BCeID. This electronic ID allows you to access online government services conveniently and securely.

If you do not already have a BCeID, you will be instructed to fill in an online form (see Step 2 below) and you will receive your BCeID immediately. You will receive an email confirmation.
Once you have your BCeID, you can then apply for the OES. If you already have a BCeID, you can immediately apply for an OES Account.

Make sure the User ID and the Password you choose for your BCeID are easy to remember; you will need both each time you login to access WorkBC Employment Services.

Step 2:  Get an OES Account

Click here Online Employment Services (OES). You will see different types of services.

  • If you’re interested in working with a Career Coach, select “Employment Services”
  • If you want to work on your own in our Resource Room, select “Self-Serve Services”

Pick the service you want and click on the “Apply Here”. Follow the instructions.

Step 3: Verify your OES Account

After applying for your OES Account, you will be sent a text or email message asking you to verify your phone number. Once you have verified, you will be sent another message thanking you for registering.

Step 4: Making First Contact with WorkBC Employment Services

Through the OES system, your information will automatically be sent to the WorkBC Centre nearest you. A staff person will contact you within 24 hours.

If you need assistance with your applications, contact us at 604-360-4196 or at info-langley-willowbrook@workbc.ca..
