Wage Subsidies
The Wage Subsidy Program helps offset the costs of on-boarding new employees for employers and can help clients obtain work experience.

Job Creation Partnerships
Job Creation Partnerships provide funding to organizations to assist with local projects that provide useful work experience and skill enhancement opportunities to eligible job seekers. Unpaid Work Experience and Community Attachment
Centre staff support clients who need work experience to obtain short-term work experience placements. These work experience placements help clients gain skills and experience and develop and improve their employment readiness.

Customized Employment
WorkBC Langley staff will support clients with disabilities or multiple barriers to find suitable work opportunities. Centre staff will work with clients to identify the job duties, workplace environment, work schedule and supports and job search tools you need to be successful. Ongoing job coaching is provided to ensure a smooth transition to work and to arrange for technical aids, adaptive equipment or other retention supports, if needed.

Financial Support
Langley WorkBC Centres can assist eligible clients to access a range of financial supports to attend training. Staff assist clients to determine eligibility and what supports are required.

Job Sustainment Services
Job Sustainment services are provided to clients who need support on the job. These services help clients become oriented to the workplace and assist clients to resolve issues that surface. Job Sustainment services can also help clients develop a career progression plan. A Career Coach will regularly check-in by text, phone, e-mail, in-person, live chat, or social media messaging, depending on the client’s preferred communication method up to 52 weeks after employment start date.
